Hello dear one, beloved reader,
I write to you with love and compassion today, and with gratitude for staying connected through these posts. I’ve had many moments this week of feeling so happy to be alive in this body.
Some of it, I attribute to an evolving habit of letting my first (or second) thought be:“I’m so grateful I have breath in my lungs.”…once my alarm goes off.
I had multiple days this week of waking up at 5am for my 5:30 CrossFit workout — which has evolved into a time where I get to find my edge — to push up against the boundary of what my body can do.
Kids like boundaries.Adults like boundaries, too.
Not constrictive boundaries — but we like to know the edge of where something goes.We like to know there’s a force stronger than us to handle our intense emotions… the ones we hide from each other for fear of being “too much.”
Hard workouts provide that boundary for me.I push my body and come up against the edge — and it feels good.Sometimes it’s a playful, childlike kind of good (especially doing sprints or box jumps).Sometimes it’s cathartic.
I’ve spoken with many of you about the root chakra — the part of us that connects to safety and security.
I connect to it by zooming way out:
I imagine the globe suspended in space. Our typical perception says the Earth is “below” us… but if that’s true, shouldn’t the people on the other side fall off? They don’t.
Because we are all held by gravity. It is Mother Earth’s embrace — comforting us, welcoming us, anchoring us.
Gravity doesn’t hold us back — it orients us.
It gives us boundaries, predictable rules, and structure to create and move the way we want.
It’s the ultimate reminder of safety.
Just like the root chakra reminds us that we are safe and worthy to take up space…Each chakra connects us to something essential:
Vitality
Power
Love
Integrity
Wisdom
Wholeness
As a deeply spiritual person drawn to truth, I gravitated toward religion in my teen years.
While I found freedom and connection in some ways, I also encountered pain and deep shame in others.
But luckily — God has many ways of speaking. Many ways to help us understand our divine humanity…
That we are beautiful beings, not in spite of our flaws and idiosyncrasies. That we are whole, and that our human experience is what allows us to grow, change, and feel.To feel one thing deeply at a time, rather than everything all at once.
Religion confused my spirit at times…But working with the chakras has brought profound healing into my life.
They’ve helped me:
Truly love myself
Accept that there is a love much deeper and a force much stronger than what meets the eye
Realize it’s my own approval and validation I seek — and that outsourcing it never quite satisfies
So I come back.I come back.I come back…
…to the truth.
The truth that LIFE IS MEANT TO BE LIVED.That breath is the ultimate abundance — because it means we still get to experience, grow, learn, love, and thrive.
I’ve created a beautiful 4-month program that takes it slow — gently opening your mind and body to each chakra, one at a time.
This program has evolved over time — and it’s finally ready.Like a cake where the recipe is finally just right.
One person is currently moving through the program on a sliding scale, and it has reminded me how nourishing it is to share this path with others regardless of payment.
So I wanted to share and invite you to connect with me if this resonates. You can reach out at stephanie@paradigmexpansions.com to learn more, to connect, or to share your love of truth.
With deep gratitude for your time and energy, I am sending many blessings your way.
May you feel free, happy in your body, whole in your being, and in love with your life.
With love,
Dr. Steph
