From Burnout to Balance: A Black Woman’s Journey to Thriving Through Wellness
Interview Description:
For years, Markeea poured into everyone else — her community, her business, her family — while quietly running on empty.
As a Black woman in wellness, she often felt unseen, overextended, and disconnected from her own needs. When burnout hit, she chose to rebuild her life from the inside out.
In this powerful interview, Markeea shares how she reclaimed her health, rediscovered self-love, and created community spaces that honor wellness, balance, and representation. Her story is a reminder that choosing yourself isn’t selfish — it’s revolutionary.
You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to take up space. Your wellness is not a luxury — it’s your foundation for thriving.
